- The Jewish Education Center of Cleveland seeks a vision-driven, creative professional (five years minimum experience in the field of Jewish education) to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a masters’ degree in Jewish education, and be comfortable working with key partners (e.g., heads of school and other educational administrators, teachers, and volunteer leaders) from all segments of the Jewish community, including day schools, youth professionals, and congregational schools.
- Areas of focus will primarily be implementing the JECC strategic plan to support excellence and sustainability in Jewish education, with particular attention to professional development for schools and providing mentoring and coaching to a broad range of professionals in the field. Experience in educational technology is desired. The successful candidate will staff a number of key JECC committees, provide grant administration, and be responsible for evaluation of the initiatives in the field. Outstanding interpersonal skills and a meaningful level of Jewish literacy are required.
